How much product do I need to supply? Am I paid for the product up front or only as it is sold?
Each distributor works independently and set their own rules. However, our wagon jobbers typically pay for each order via credit card up front before the order is shipped.
How much product, does each grocer/c-store take?
Each store typically displays one point of sale display and keeps one in the back, however our distributors visit the stores weekly or every 2 weeks to re-stock the shelves and make sure that any static cling stickers or posters are still being displayed.
How do the transactions between me and the distributors take place?
Most of our distributors develop a friendly relationship with their suppliers. As a supplier you can expect a distributor to send in an order form you provide via fax or email, however most of our distributors tend to prefer using the phone to place an order.
How would you describe Mr Checkout’s role in the relationship?
As a network of distributors, Mr. Checkout’s role is to promote your product and brand to our independent distributors. They know that finding a product on our What’s Hot list means that we have seen, discussed and believe that product to be marketable in their independent stores. The individual relationship building is on you, the supplier, however we make sure that they have exposure to your product before you call.
What happens to my product if distributors don’t buy it?
Unfortunately, sometimes a product doesn’t resonate with the distributors. This can be for a variety of reasons from they already carry a competitors to a dislike for the salesperson personally.
